Vicar
Having started working life in a firm of solicitors, Paul spent 20 years running his own national Public Relations company working with the national secular media's Newsdesks on a daily basis. His clients were regularly to be found promoting their views and campaigns on BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, and on BBC's Newsnight.
Paul was also a freelance journalist with several national and regional newspapers, and a regular contributor to BBC's Thought For The Day. From 2005-9 Paul was a very active member of the Church of England's General Synod.
Paul trained for ordained ministry at St John's College Nottingham and served his curacy at Grove. He became Vicar here in February 2013, is married to Verity, and together, they have four children, Rachel, Tom, Dan and Sam. Oh, and their Black Cocker Spaniel dog, Harvey is the one who runs along the vicarage wall welcoming everyone to the vicarage!
Paul's three main passions in life are: Mission, Mentoring Men and Media.
